Varsity Boys Basketball Take 1st Place in Owensville Tournament

Southern Boone Boys Varsity Basketball defeats Newburg 39-35 on Friday, January 5th, 2024 to win the Owensville Tournament. The varsity team competed all last week, defeating Cuba 66-62 in double overtime on Tues. Jan. 2nd, and Owensville 65-63 in overtime on Thurs. Jan. 4th.

Chase Morris led the team with 17 points, followed by Kellen Ash with 10, Richard Oyewole 4, Jace Wren & Chase Rackers 3 and Aidan Yung 2. Chase Morris & Richard Oyewole made the All-Tournament Team.
