Fixing a Broken System

My fellow Americans, it is time to admit that our form of representative democracy, a bold experiment conceived by a small group of land and slave-owning white men nearly 250 years ago, is a fatally flawed system that is in dire need of a major overhaul.

Although the vision the Founders had for our government was an improvement over the continued subjugation by the king and Parliament of the British Empire, history has shown us that giving a president and Congress the authority to rule the masses has not proven to be substantially better.
