Finding Forgiveness in Christ

The good I would, I do not; the evil I would not, I do. We find ourselves faced with this dilemma. We know the good that we should do. Our parents taught us this all during our childhood. We are reminded of it by our family members, and a pastor at church also encourages us. And we honestly try to do good. But when we have the opportunity, we fail to do good. How often do we privately scold ourselves and end up saying I cannot help myself. It is small comfort to be told we are not alone, that others experience the same problem.
