James Craig

James Craig of Hartsburg passed away at South Hampton in Columbia,  December 10, 2022, he was 85 years old.  James was born March 18, 1937 in Ashland the son of OB and Mable Jones, Craig. He married Peggy Kirchner on May 17, 1958 in Jefferson City.  He retired from Central Electric as a lineman after 39  years. He loved his family, having special names for them and many others. He was a farmer, raising cattle and horses. James was known at Mosers for visiting with everyone.

Funeral Services will be held at Robinson Funeral Home on December 15, 2022 at 2:00pm with burial following in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00pm prior to funeral.

Survivors include his sons, Mike (Brenda) Craig of Ashland, Bobby Craig of Hartsburg and Steve (Terri) Craig of Ashland; his sister,  Kay Taggart of St. Louis; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one sister, Betty Craig.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions are suggested to Preferred Hospice in care of the family.
