If you thought the annual “Welcome Home: A Community for Veterans” Thanksgiving fundraiser dinner would not be held this year due to the closing of the Skyline Café, guess again!  Where there is a will there is a way, and Brenda Ravenscraft is determined to see this event continue despite now having retired from the restaurant business.  With the full support of the Ashland Optimists and donations from the community, dinners will be served again this Thanksgiving!  From 10am to 2pm, the public is invited to feast on the following options: turkey or ham, mashed potatoes, dressing, green beans, cranberry sauce, hot rolls, and pumpkin pie.  The cost is a suggested donation to “Welcome Home: A Community for Veterans” in the way of cash, check or Venmo @Brenda-Ravenscraft.
