Ted L. Bennett

Ted L. Bennett of Hartsburg passed away June 11, 2016 at his home, he was 82 years old.

Ted was born November 3, 1933 in Hartsburg, the son of Leroy and Gladys Crump Bennett. He married Virginia Ramsdell on October 17, 1956 in Cedar City and she survives. He was a graduate of Ashland High School. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabee Battalion. Ted worked for BD Simon Masonry and he retired from the University of Missouri in 1998 as a brick mason. He was a farmer all of his life.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Robinson Funeral Home in Ashland, with burial following in Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 14 at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife Virginia, two sons, Alan Bennett, wife Jayne of Lohman, Darrell Bennett of Hartsburg and one daughter, Karla Thomas and her husband Steven of Hartsburg; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to Liberty or Goshen Cemetery in care of the family.
