The Southern Boone County boys golf team hopes to capitalize on some gained experience in the 2019 season.
After losing early in district tournament play last season, the Eagles will see if another year of varsity play for the young team can improve their game. Head coach Mike Johnson said he saw a lot of constant improvement from his team in 2018.
Golfers include Matthew Potter, Lleyton Shoot, Connor Gamble, Tyler Frese and Kaden Schupp.
SoBoCo’s season opens up with a three-team matchup starting at 4 p.m. Thursday in Eldon.
