Tough Times in Tournament

After defeating Versailles on Senior Night, SoBoCo split a doubleheader with New Bloomfield and then took on Jeff City in the first round of the Hickman Tourney.

While the Eagles’ Ashley Osborne pitched well enough to win, an error in the 7th inning gave the Jays a 1-0 win.

In the second game on Friday, the Eagles could not get their bats going and fell to a hot Blue Springs team by a 12-1 score.

SoBoCo’s Cam Schaller gave up 12 runs in five innings and, despite Courtney Phillips’ 2-for-3 game, the Eagles offense could not get going.
