Second inning plays key role in Southern Boone Varsity Eagles blow out over Centralia 2022 Varsity. Southern Boone Varsity Eagles defeated Centralia 2022 Varsity 14-1 on Thursday thanks to nine runs in the second inning. Southern Boone Eagles offense in the inning came from a walk by CHase Morris, a triple by Carter Karotka, a single by Jace Reynolds, a home run by Austin Evans, by Tate John and a double by Bradly Smith. In the first inning, Southern Boone got their offense started when Morris singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. Southern Boone Varsity Eagles put up nine runs in the second inning. Southern Boone batters contributing to the big inning included Morris, Evans, Reynolds, John, Smith and Karotka all knocking in runs in the inning.
