The past week was all-around victorious for middle and high school football. Junior Varsity defeated Boonville Pirates on the road, 7th and 8th grade defeated Hallsville Indians at home, and Varsity defeated Quincy Notre Dame (Illinois) for a Friday Night Lights special at home.

With 19 first downs, 180 rushing yards, 202 passing yards, and 382 total yards, the win did not come easy. QND took the lead with less than 2 minutes in the game. Brady Dapkus saved the day with an 88-yard kickoff return touchdown, and secured the win with an interception on QND’s final possession. Final score 35-34, bringing varsity record to 4-1.
