On Saturday, August 28th, the Columbia Daily Tribune again reported on Lakeside Ashland and the City of Ashland’s quest to find a second road access to their annexed commercial property.  In the article, Tony St. Romaine stated, “Our reading of the code is such that the development provides two access points into (Parks’) property. Not to Log Providence, but to his property,”  However, this is in direct contradiction to the Board of Aldermen meeting on the 20 July, 2021, where both Mayor Sullivan and City Manager Tony St. Romaine agreed that a second road would be required:
