Sammie L. Potts

Sammie L. Potts, age 75, of Ashland passed away at his home on July 28, 2022.

Mr. Potts was born November 30, 1946 in Fulton, Mo,  the son of Sammie Lee and Grace Warfield Potts Sr.  He married Marilyn  Anderson  on September 5, 1970 in High Point, MO. and she survives.

He retired from University of Missouri Physics  Department, where he worked as a surpervisor.

Family Graveside Services will be held on August  2, 2022  Gamble Cemetery in California, Missouri.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 6pm on  Monday August 1, 2022 at Robinson Funeral Home in Ashland,

Survivors also include his daughters, Dawn (Jim) Denyes  of Ocala, Florida and Kimberly Potts of Ashland; his sisters, Barbara Ancell of Holts Summit; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Danny and Harold Dean
