Misti Dawn Post,

of Ashland, passed away at the University of Missouri Hospital on April 27, 2021, she was 47 years old. She was born August 27, 1973 in Springfield, MO., the daughter of Danny and Connie Welch. She accepted Christ at the age of 12. Misti grew up in Lebanon, MO where she graduated from Lebanon high school. She graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Physical Fitness. She married Greg Post on December 28, 1996 in Lebanon. After college, Misti worked at General Mills as a sales representative until they had children and she stayed home to raise them. She recently worked as a PARA at the Southern Boone Primary School. She was an avid fan of Southern Boone sporting events and an active member of the Crossing Church in Columbia. Misti was a very social person. She held her friends close and she loved her family deeply. Her greatest joy was being a wife, mother, and friend. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday May 1, 2021 at the Crossing in Columbia at 12:00pm. Doors will open at 11:00 for fellowship. She is survived by her husband, Greg; her three children, Dani, Nik and Justin all of Ashland; her mother, Connie Welch of Linn Creek. She was preceded in death by her father, Danny Welch.
