Mary Louise (Green) Pauley of Ashland passed away May 22, 2021 at Boone Hospital, she was 93 years old. Mary was born June 20, 1927 in Erie, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Kenneth E. and Lydia Kocher Green. Her family moved to Jefferson City, MO. in 1927. In 1939, they relocated again to Ashland, MO. Mary graduated from Ashland High School in 1945. She completed 2 years of college at the University of Missouri. She retired from Radiology Consultants after 17 years as an office assistant. On June 16, 1949 she married Kenneth E. Pauley. They were married for 68 years. They had two sons, Gary and Mark. Mary had a love of horses. She spent many weekends sharing her passion for horses with her granddaughters. Together they participated in many fun shows and parades. She was a member of the Cedar Valley Riders Saddle Club for many years, serving as secretary for several years. She is survived by her sister: Nancy Hombs of Boonville, 2 sons; Gary (Dian) Pauley of Columbia and Mark Pauley of Ashland; 3 granddaughters, Erin (Matt Spry) Pauley, Kara (Bryan) Kutschkau and Katie (Caleb) Rouse; great grandchildren, Halle and Haven Rouse, Andrew and Lucy Kutschkau; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth, daughter-in-law Tammy Pauley, brother-in-law Dr. Harold (Kent) Hombs and nephew Chris Hombs. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions are suggested to New Salem Cemetery P.O. Box 68 Ashland, MO. 65010 Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00am at Robinson Funeral Home on May 28, 2021 with service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at New Salem Cemetery in Ashland.
