Glenda Lee Howell Crow, age 87, passed away October 8, 2022, in Columbia, MO, surrounded by family. She was born June 10, 1935 to McCollough (Mac) G. Howell and Lillian Ewing Howell in Hunnewell, MO. She was married to Edmond Lee Crow on March 13, 1953, in Hannibal, MO.  Edmond passed away on August 2, 2007.

Glenda was valedictorian of her high school class and received education from the USAF. She worked in civil service jobs at Albany, GA; Ramey AFB, Puerto Rico; Dyess AFB, Abilene, TX; Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital, Columbia, MO and the National Guard in Jefferson City, MO where she retired in 1988.

Glenda was a member of the Jefferson City First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), volunteered at the Food Pantry, Lay Minister program and other events as needed.

She is survived by her three children: Johnny Crow (Jan) of Jefferson City, Rebecca Crow-McLaughlin of Hallsville, and Robert Crow (Beverly) of Hartsburg; five grandchildren: Jessica Helmka (Reece), Dustin Crow (Janelle), Ashton Crow (Ryan Mitchell), Shelby Crow and Taylor Crow; nine great grandchildren: Avery Trimble, Katie Gasperson Smith, Finley Gasperson Smith, Madilynn Mitchell, Montanna Mitchell, Dawson Crow, Jaxson Crow, Riley Dunnavant and Kagan Dunnavant; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Mac and Lillian Howell; her husband, Edmond Lee Crow; one sister, Phyllis Provorse; one brother, James Howell, and one special grandson, William (Bill) Lee Gasperson.

Services will be held at Garner Funeral Home in Monroe City, MO on Thursday, October 13, 2022, with visitation at 11:00 and funeral service at 12:00. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery in Hunnewell, MO.
