Curtis P. (Bo) Cain

Of Ashland, passed away February 12, 2022 at The Bluffs in Columbia, he was 91 years old. Bo was born May 2, 1930 in Holt Summit, Mo. the son of James and Ida Cuffkey Cain. He married JoAnn Lane on June 30, 1954 in Denver Colorado and she survives. Bo served in the United States Army for 8 years. He worked for Shelter Insurance as manager of Word Processing until his retirement. He had also worked on the Administrative Management Advisory Board for State Fair College in Sedalia Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 15, 2022 at 11:00am at Hopewell Baptist Church in New Bloomfield, with burial following in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Bo is survived by his wife, JoAnn Cain; two children, Scott (Kim) Cain and Melody Cain of Ashland; one sister, Geneva Pearre of Jefferson City; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters, one grandson. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions are suggested to Hopewell Cemetery in care of the family.
