Elbert Lee (Buck) Plaster 82 of Jacksonville Florida passed away September 16, 2022 at his home with his loving wife, Sallie and his son Dan Plaster at his side.
Buck was born on August 31, 1940 in Wilton Missouri to Elbert F. Plaster and Lela Merle (Nichols) Plaster. Buck grew up in Ashland Missouri and graduated from Southern Boone High School in 1958. That same year he married his high School sweetheart Jane Old. They had three children. After High School he attended printing school and that became his life work. He accepted new jobs and moved his family to Jefferson City, Hannibal, Kansas City and Davenport Indiana.
After he and Jane divorced he moved to Jacksonville Florida. After moving to Florida he opened his own printing company Colorcraft and remained there until retirement. In 1986 he married Sallie Pickard and she survives.
Buck was a infamous host and liked to have large parties. He was an avid card player who obtained a life master level status, playing Bridge. He was a gifted story teller intent on preserving an accurate version (His Version) of History.
He was a devoted husband, Father and good friend to many who will miss him.
Buck is survived by his wife Sallie, Son Dan Plaster (Holly), Grandchild, Aubrey of Eugene Oregon, Sister Rachel Martin of Ashland Missouri, bonus Daughter Sarah Cornelius of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Bonus son Carey Cornelius of Jacksonville Florida, Granddaughter Jennifer Plaster of Davenport Indiana, Bonus granddaughter Parker Black of Jacksonville Florida. Grandson Paul Huettman of Rock Island Illinois.
He was preceded in death by two children, Julie and Kevin Plaster a bonus granddaughter, Erin Black, A sister Peggy Griggs, His parents, two brother in laws, Eddie Martin and George Griggs
