School Board Candidates

The Southern Boone County School District is in the middle of a heavily campaigned election for two open positions on the school board. The two seats up for election are current school board member Barrett Glascock, who is running for re-election, and former school board President Steve Condron. Condron resigned February 14, 2022. All five candidates on the April 5 ballot competing for the two school board seats have participated in the Q&A below.

Question 1) How are you preparing to handle the school districts school bond capacity and budget while the student population grows?

Question 2) What is your top priority to ensure an equal education for all students in Southern Boone County?
