Oratorical Contest Winner

Ivan Bossert, a junior at Southern Boone High School, won the Eastern Missouri District Optimist Oratorical Contest in St. Louis over the weekend. Bossert was awarded a $2,500 scholarship for this achievement. Bossert now moves on to the Regional/World Optimist Oratorical competitions with a chance at $5,000-$15,000 scholarships.
