Southern Boone County School District is seeing an increase of COVID-19 positive cases sending a surge of staff and students in quarantine due to close contact exposures.
Attendance at the High School has fallen to an estimated 70% according to Superintendent Chris Felmlee, with the possibility of High School students not returning to in seat instruction until after Thanksgiving break.
