Builders at Liberty Landing have taken advantage of the weather this fall.
Liberty Landing, slated for 32 homes in phase one, has nine homes under roof – two of them already sold.
Developer Bill Martin said he has begun Phase Two of the development as streets are being carved out by earth moving machinery.
“We have some good builders here and they are moving quickly,” Martin said.
Martin described the homes at Liberty Landing, just west of the Primary School, as $165,000-$200,000 in pricing. “We have 24 lots sold and 32 homes started,” Martin said.
The Southwinds development on Eagle Lake Dr., just west of Highway 63, also has a dozen homes under roof.
