Dave’s Donation Drive drop-off on Saturday

For anyone looking for a good way to make the holiday season brighter for dozens of Mid-Missouri families, the opportunity will be at the Primary School this Saturday.

Local attorney Dave Bandre is conducting his first “Dave’s Donation Drive” – which has taken off via his Facebook and Twitter accounts. Bandre says he was motivated to do more for others after purchasing his Thanksgiving dinner meal for his family.

The Southern Boone drop site for items on Saturday will be at the SoBoCo Primary School parking lot from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

In addition to cash donations, Bandre will be accepting clothing, toiletries and canned food items. (For an extensive list, see the advertisement on page 12 of today’s Journal.)

Bandre said he has been “overwhelmed” by the generosity of friends and neighbors and hopes the drive continues next year.
