The City of Ashland will host a “Town Hall” meeting on Tuesday, March 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Ashland American Legion building, 123 E. Broadway, to talk about the city’s options for trash and recycling in the future. The City of Ashland is currently in contract negotiations with Republic Services for the continuance of trash and recycling services. According to City Administrator Lyn Woolford, Republic has applied minimal price increases to its Ashland customers and future annual increases will be dependent upon what waste and recycling options are selected.
