Ashland Betterment Coalition Purpose & Mission

Ashland residents often ask/discuss “what is the difference between the Ashland Betterment Coalition (ABC) and the Southern Boone Chamber of Commerce in terms of functions and mission?” The Boone County Journal posed five questions to ABC via board member Brittney Harty to help answer these questions.

1. What is the Ashland Betterment Coalition (ABC), and how does it differ from the Chamber of Commerce?

I would say we are a non-profit coalition that encourages a diverse, family-oriented commercial environment that promotes the Ashland Downtown as the place to live, shop, and play. Read more in this week’s Boone County Journal.
