The JV Eagles defeated Harrisburg on Tuesday, June 11th thanks in part to 10 runs in the fifth inning. The Eagles got on the board in the third inning after Kellen Schaller grounded out, scoring one run.
Starting pitcher Tate Muzzey surrendered one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out six and walking five.
In the fifth inning, Rowan Bonnot drew a walk, scoring one run, Muzzey drew a walk, scoring one run, Kai Morris singled, scoring two runs, Jackson Fisher drew a walk, scoring one run, Nolan Ash drew a walk, scoring one run, Schaller singled, scoring two runs, Bonnot drew a walk, scoring one run, and Morris drew a walk, scoring one run.
The fifth inning put the Eagles in a strong position and they remained on top for the rest of the game, with a final score of 12-0. The win brought the JV summer season record to 4-1-1.
