If you don’t think cross country is a sport for tough runners, think again.
Facing their toughest competition of the year and running on a muddy, slick and crowded course, the SoBoCo Eagles held their own on Saturday.
Add that performance to the Eagles girls running to a second place team finish and coach Crystal Branch was pleased with her team’s progress.

“We are running better – we are getting there,” Branch said. “We had a touch challenge on Saturday and our kids performed well. It was a muddy mess for everyone.”
