Three Eagles win conference honors

Three SoBoCo Eagles won All-Conference honors and Cassey Poole won the girls race last week at the Tri-County Conference cross country meet at Eldon.

The top 15 runners receive All-Conference honors in cross courntry. SoBoCo Eagles, from left, Jess Newkirk, Cassey Poole and Isaac Smith won All-Conference honors. The Eagles run in the upcoming district meet on October 23.

The Varsity Boys won fifth place with the following runners: Isaac Smith 5th 17:46; Jess Newkirk 11th ,18:08; Josh Sampsell 24th 19:03; Blake Schmidt 34th 19:46; Tyler Munoz 45th 20:23; Will Spry 64th 21:48; Ethan David 76th 24:08; Jacob David 83rd 27:15.

In the girls race, Eagles runners included: Cassey Poole 1st 20:08; Koyia Prince 16th 22:54 Karsen Mauney 33rd 26:56.
