Defense plays well, but turnovers turned into points in Osage win
The thrill of an unbeaten season fell apart for the SoBoCo Eagles on a rainy Friday night at School of the Osage.

Three plays were indicative of the game in which the Eagles had their backs against the wall early – and the offense unraveled.
• Early in the game with Jackson Sartain back to punt, the snap sailed high over his head, down to the goal line which was picked up for an Indians TD to tie the game.
• Osage’s Jason Edwards got the first of two pick sixes with three minutes left in the third quarter for a 22-10 Indians lead.
• Down 32-17, but driving the ball downfield, Taggart was intercepted by C.J. Myers in the red zone to seal the win.

“The defense could have played better,” Eagles coach Trent Tracy said, “but they played well enough to win. We just didn’t make plays and they did.”
Tracy highlighted the fact that the Eagles were constantly getting the ball in poor field position – needing to drive the length of the field to score.
