Southern Boone Varsity Eagles stays scrappy in loss to Father Tolton Varsity Trailblazers

The Eagles effort to come back from down five runs in the fifth inning came up short, as they fell 8-6 to the Trailblazers on Thursday.  Southern Boone scored three runs in the failed comeback on a double by Ryker Zimmerman and a single by Hayden Steelman.

The Eagles was right in it until the Trailblazers singled in the fifth inning.

Southern Boone captured the lead in the first inning.  Jace Reynolds drove in two when Reynolds singled.
