Southern Boone Eagles Varsity Clinches Lead in Sixth Inning to Defeat Russellville

Southern Boone Eagles Varsity defeated Russellville 12-4 on Thursday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at three with Southern Boone Eagles Varsity battingin the top of the sixth when Nik Post hit a solo homer. Southern Boone Eagles Varsity earned the victory despite allowing Russellville to score three runs in the second inning. Russellville’s big inning was driven by a single by Kauffman and a double by L Plochberger.
