The new Southern Boone Eagles locker room is ready for the Eagles girls spring soccer team and is now ready for fall football and boys soccer. 
While workers are completing some final detail work, SoBoCo Activities Director Pat Lacy said Friday the renovated former weight room was given occupancy permission by county inspectors earlier in the week.
The football locker room includes an open space with football lockers surrounding the center of the room. The lockers include space for helmets and equipment as well as lockable space at the bottom of the locker.
The soccer locker room contains 51 lockers and some open space for team meetings. Both locker rooms include bathroom facilities, but no showers.
