The SoBoCo Eagles fell behind, then got the lead – then repeated that formula.

But in the end, the Eagles took a wild 9-5 win over Moberly last Thursday.

The Eagles, now 16-6, fell behind early but got a 5-run first inning, led by Sam Poole’s 2-run double. Trevor Garriott had a sacrifice fly and Gage Schupp an RBI in the attack.

Gannon Mueller got the win on the mound for the Eagles, despite giving up five runs in four innings. Clay Jeffery held the Spartans in check with two scoreless innings.

Schupp had an RBI and scored twice while going 2-for-3.

The Eagles were rained out of their game Monday and played at Hickman on Tuesday – see bocojo.com for results.

The Eagles begin district play at Osage on Saturday as the No. 3 seed.
