The SoBoCo Eagles football team began two weeks of summer camp drills on Monday with plenty of enthusiasm.

While running backs worked on their foot speed and agility, offensive linemen were hitting the blocking sleds with the confidence you would expect of a team that came on at the end of last season, won a playoff game at California and gave Fulton a complete game – that was not decided until the final minutes in the district semi-finals.

Eagles coach Trent Tracy said summer camp is a time to work on players with their individual skills as well as develop some team play and comraderie.

“It will also be our first chance to workout with the freshmen,” said Tracy. “We will have plenty of players fighting for playing time and this is an opportunity for them to get better and show us what they can do.”
