Eagles hit with two losses

Injuries, forcing two forfeits, cost the SoBoCo Eagles in their match vs Versailles last Thursday.

The Eagles got pins from Blake Schmidt, Dawson Paul and Charlie Smith, but were forced to forfeit matches that freshman Cade Scheer and senior Dom Lawrence may have otherwise won. The result? A 45-36 Versailles win.

“Our guys wrestled really well,” said Eagles coach Trent Tracy. “We have a lot of work to do, but we continue to make progress every match.”

SoBoCo also fell to Blair Oaks 51-26 with Schmidt getting a technical fall and Smith and Connor Phillips winning on forfeits.
