The Southern Boone High School wrestling team competed against Tipton and Mexico on Thursday evening in a tri dual held in Tipton.
The Eagles lost to Mexico in the first meet 33-30. Southern Boone actually won more individual matches than the Bulldogs but lost the meet because of forfeited matches due to lack of wrestlers in several weight classes.
Tipton defeated Mexico in a tight match up 42-41.
The Eagles had more success in their second match defeating Tipton in a very physical meet 34-30.
