The SoBoCo Eagles softball team remained unbeaten on Tuesday, defeating South Callaway by a 7-2 score.
Izzy Smith had three RBIs and Ashley Osborne got the pitching win. Osborne pitched the entire game, allowing one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out five Bulldogs batters.
South Callaway grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first inning, but the Eagles came back with two runs in the fourth inning, taking advantage of a Bulldog error.
SoBoCo held the lead at 3-2 before adding four more runs in the top of the seventh inning. Courtney Phillips scored on a passed ball, which led to Smith’s triple, scoring Abby LeCure and Kylee Lammers.
The Eagles are now 6-0 on the season and begin Tri-County Conference play on Thursday at California.

It looked as though the Panthers were going to pull off a surprise win, taking the first game 21-25 and leading 14-22 in the second game.
However, Sydney Jones served 11 straight points for the Eagles, bringing about a complete collapse of the Panthers defense and gaining the momentum and the game for the Eagles.
SoBoCo won the deciding game decisively 25-16.
Jones had 16 service points and 7 digs in the match, Janae King had 22 assists, Katy Andrews had 12 kills and Emma Straub had 8 kills and 8 digs.
The Eagles will travel to Camdenton on Monday for their next match.
