The SoBoCo Eagles boys basketball team notched their first win of the seaon on Friday with a 61-39 win over the Linn Wildcats.

SoBoCo ran out to a 27-16 halftime lead behind the scoring and defense of Rece Gilmore and Sam Stichnote. Brady Trammell added a pair of 3-point shots as the Eagles were passing the ball around the court and keeping the Wildcats’ defense on their heels.

“We were sharing the ball well,” said Eagles coach Andy Jahnsen. “We had some guys playing together who were beginning to make some good passes to open players. Our defense led us and these guys are starting to get the idea what effort it will take every night for us to win.”
