A Year of Success for SB Golf

Several great things have happened during the 2023-2024 ladies golf season! Here are the highlights from the season:

As a team the Lady Eagles won the following matches:
8/29 against Boonville.
8/31 against Mexico, Harrisburg and Palmyra.
9/13 against Blair Oaks, New Bloomfield and Hallsville.

Overall the Lady Eagles went 7-1 against teams in matches.

The varsity team won first place at the Boonville Par -3 tournament on 8/25, placed 6th overall at the Helias Invitational, and placed 5th overall at the Lady Laker Invitational, placed 3rd overall in Conference and Districts.

Individually, Courtney Hargis placed 7th in the Kirksville tournament as a freshman, earning all-tournament honors.

Breckyn Shewmake received all-conference and all-district honors, placing 7th at each tournament.

Breckyn also attended the MSHSAA State Championship and placed 20th out of 89 golfers as a sophomore.
