Dear Editor,

Mr. Naughton continues to astound me with his dribble and rhetoric. He is a master at dredging through past events, cherry picking the ones that allows him the luxury of inserting his slanted opinion. In a not so masterful way Mr. Naughton then pieces together a tapestry in his mind of how these events shaped the country into the current state of ruins.

It’s impossible to take a snippet of any historical event and make it factual without supplementing with the context of its surroundings, intentions and findings. Painting half a picture and expecting reader confirmation for your skills of reporting/editorializing Mr. Naughton is absurd.

I do believe you have many fans as you develop your skills as a music teacher and for that I applaud you for sharing that talent.

Oh, I do have a question. Which Socialist Democrat would you recommend? Keep in mind he/she may need your physical support to help gather up our guns. Which street in Ashland do you plan to start on? So, I was raised to have an open mind and like my Pappy always said, “A clock that’s stopped is right twice a day”.

That said, if you keep chipping away at my rights, my constitution and the democracy of this great country then rest assured you can expect a reaction.

Again you hyperbole on one particular incident where the Taliban was invited to attend peace talks at Camp David. Stating without legitimate information the response from Fox News and Trump supporters on the Right..when in actuality there was little if any reporting done that was on board with Trumps actions. Including the vast majority of the Fox Network.

You need to do your homework and not continue to make false assumptions. As life in general, the means to an end is not always enjoyable to observe. It’s not mandatory to like Trump but it’s hard to dispute his results.

So, at the end of the day when it’s all said and done we should never, ever put our hate for someone or something ahead of our love for our country. I lost numerous friends during Obama’s eight years, just for the simple fact he was our POTUS and I respected that. Oh, one other tidbit of information.

If for one minute you believe that turning the US into the thrones of Socialism will prevent your son from ever having to defend this Nation you are sadly misinformed. Once the wolves of tyranny smell the blood of weakness they will pounce and that will result in wars being fought on OUR soil.
