By Faith Alone, We Are Saved

In many casual conversations I have heard people say that they hope to go to heaven because they have been a good person. Yet they receive no argument because everybody recognizes that they are good people and do many good things. I have heard comments at a visitation to the effect that the person who died deserves to go to heaven because of all the suffering the person went through.
