Obituary: Ronald Lee Libbert

Ronald Lee Libbert, age 63, of Rocky Mount, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024, at his home. He was born January 29, 1961, in San Diego, California, a son of Jerome and Arlene (Brenneke) Libbert.

Ron “Stretch” worked as a commercial union painter for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed spending his time fishing and deer hunting. He was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

He is survived by his mother, Arlene Libbert; daughter, Jacquelyn Schneider; granddaughter, Isabelle Weber; siblings, Michelle Tufts, Dan Libbert and Lisa Luechtefeld and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Libbert.

A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at a later date.
