Doris Elaine Richardson

Doris Elaine Richardson of Ashland, passed away on November 7, 2022 at Boone Hospital, she was  78 years old. Doris was born January 1, 1944 in Ashland, the daughter of  Derwood and Meda Elizabeth Bennett Garrett.  She married Bill Richardson on June 15, 1963 in Ashland. She retired from the Credit Union in Columbia, where she worked as a loan officer.  She was a member of the Ashland Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family.

   Funeral Services will be held on Friday November 11, 2022 at Robinson Funeral Home at 11:00am, burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00am.

Survivors include her husband, Bill; two sons, Jesse (Jeana) Richardson and Mark (Jodi) Richardson; two brothers, Jack (Billie Jean) Garrett and Steve (Debbie) Garrett all of Ashland;    

Her grandchildren, J.D. Richardson, Jaclyn (Blaine) Abbott and Hunter Richardson and her great grandchildren, Boone and Janie Abbott.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Tom Garret and Larry Garrett.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial  Contributions are suggested to American Heart Association in care of the family.
