Agnes M. Kempf, 76, of Boonville, passed away at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Sept. 13, 2016.

Visitation for Agnes will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. at SS Peter and Paul Church on Sept. 15, with the Rosary being prayed at 6:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church Sept. 16 at 12:00 noon with Father Basil Eruo celebrating. Burial will follow in SS Peter at Paul Cemetery.

Agnes May Kempf was born in Prairie Home, Missouri, April 27, 1940, the daughter of Troy Klatt and Audrey Kirschman Klatt. She graduated from Boonville High School. She married Francis ‘Frank’ Kempf Sept. 19th, 1959. Agnes was a devout and active member of SS Peter and Paul Church and a member of the Daughter’s of Isabella. She was a homemaker first, taking care of her family and later, working at various jobs. When grandchildren arrived, they became the most important thing in her life.

Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 2012, and by her son, Michael Ray Kempf, in 1995, as well as two brothers, David and Danny Klatt. She is survived by her daughters, Christie Ann Hinerman of Columbia, and Lisa Jean (Mitch) VanHoose of Hartsburg and brother, Dennis Klatt, of Lisbon, MO. She will leave an empty spot in the hearts of her grandchildren; Megan (Aron) Geiger, Bryan Jones, Blake Hinerman and Sydni VanHoose.

Memorials are suggested to the Boonville New Hope Animal Shelter of SS Peter and Paul Church or School.
