The Southern Boone community was invited to meet at both the Middle School and High School flag poles on the morning of Wednesday, Sep. 27th to pray together. Students, local pastors, and other members of the community showed up strong to share a mutual prayer for the school year.

See You At The Pole™ began in 1990 and is a global day of student prayer. According to SYATP website, the day “is simply a prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God. SYATP is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event.”

Ashland Baptist Church Youth leader Derek Lombard posted on FB “the Lord showed up in a big way at Southern Boone Middle & High School this morning for “See You at The Pole” prayer. Great support from Churches & pastors as well. We had over 130 in attendance in both locations. Such a privilege to pray with these young men & ladies!”
