A Southern Boone Schools bus was rear-ended by another vehicle this morning as the bus driver was picking up students on Route M west of Ashland.
There were no injuries in the three-vehicle crash that happened just after 7:30 a.m. on Monday morning.
The SoBoCo bus was stopped at the moment of the collision as a vehicle, which had slowed for the bus, was struck from behind as it traveled east on Rt. M. The vehicle which was struck from behind hit the school bus and became wedged underneath the bus.
The school district informed parents who had children on the bus and either allowed parents to take children home or put them on another school bus which transported them to school.
