The Ashland Farmer’s Market, run by Zach Rippeto, is open for summer business. Along with Jeni Schierbecker, Rippeto sells tomatoes, cucumbers, green onions and other vegetables as well as flowers, cakes, succulents, ribs and chicken. Schierbecker buys the vegetables from local growers, some from the Amish community, and resells them, while she grows the flowers in her greenhouse.

The market will be open from 3 to 6 p.m. from now until November.
