Two juniors and a senior SoBoBoCo Eagles football players earned All State honors from the Missouri Football Coaches Association.

Junior kicker Parker Boyce was named to the first team All State, junior defensive back Sam Stichnote was named to the second team and running back Jackson Sartain was named to the third team.

Boyce, who was also named to the All Tri-County Conference and All District teams, set a school record this season with a 43-yard field goal and led area punters as well.

Stichnote had six interceptions this past season, despite teams attempting to throw away from him on passing downs, as well as 71 tackles.

Sartain was the leading rusher for the Eagles, despite missing a game with an injury, and was an effective blocker for other Eagles ball carriers.

The three All State mentions are the most ever by a Southern Boone Eagles team and the top for coach Trent Tracy.

The Eagles went 7-4 this past season, falling in the semi-final round of district play at Mexico.
