The SoBoCo Eagles were in action in multiple sports on Tuesday and continued to post a W in each event:

• Alexa Newkirk led the Eagles girls cross country team by winning the Salisbury race on Tuesday. Newkirk “destroyed the field,” according to coach Crystal Branch in the 3.1 mile race. In the boys race, Tyler Reinkemeyer was 5th and Isaac Smith was 7th.

• The Eagles volleyball team went to 2-0 on Tuesday as they defeated North Callaway in two straight games. The Eagles next travel to Fatima on Monday.

• The Eagles boys soccer team made it look easy in their first game of the season, winning 7-0 at Osage. The win gives the Eagles the mythical “Conference Championship” as Osage and SoBoCo are the only Tri-County Conference schools fielding soccer teams.

Upcoming games:
• The Eagles softball team will travel to Eldon on Thursday for a key Tri-County Conference matchup. Eldon, SoBoCo and Blair Oaks are among the top teams in the conference.
• The Eagles soccer team will travel to Boonville on Thursday for a match against the Pirates, then host Battle High at home on Saturday.
• The girls golf team plays at Mexico on Thursday.
• The Eagles football team travels to Wright City on Friday to face an 0-1 Wildcats team.
