Scheer named to All State Academic soccer team

Recent Southern Boone graduate Riley Scheer was recently named to the 2017 All State Academic soccer team.

Scheer, a standout defender on the Eagles girls soccer team which won its first district title in five years, was the Salutatorian of the Southern Boone graduating class of 2017.

Sixty-eight soccer players were nominated and the quality of the nominations was the highest it has ever been with all nominees exceeding the minimum requirements. Playing achievement was based on the number of varsity games played and the number of games started.
