Running in the Rain
Eagles cross country coach Crystal Branch doesn’t mind her team running in the rain. While lightning calls off practice, Monday’s rain didn’t bother anyone.
“We have Alexa Newkirk and Cassey Poole returning and they both went to the state meet last year,” Branch said.
The Eagles will miss returning senior Riley Scheer who is recovering from an injury, but Branch is hoping to have her back later in the season.
